Projects
Working as the Director of Communications for AHF, I provide content, strategy, and guidance around the non-profit’s wide range of real estate and historic preservation projects, as well as supporting the organization’s marketing operations across properties. Plus, I get to explore and ogle historic buildings quite a bit, so it’s pretty perfect for me.
Inspired by the Volante Farms cookbook, restauranteur and entrepreneur Nadia Liu Spellman wanted to tell her family’s story through memoir and recipes. Our project team took that idea through editorial, photography, writing, art direction, design, and production. Look for the Dumpling Daughter Cookbook fall 2022!
Back in 2019, The Charles River Speedway was in the midst of a huge transformation from a vacant, run-down complex of former park administration buildings to a revitalized hub of local food, drink, and community. Working with Architectural Heritage Foundation, I helped capture and share the property’s rich history during the development phase with project updates and sneak peaks at what the development will ultimately look and feel like.
I feel lucky to have connected with Peg Galliard, a one-woman show who swirls around Boston connecting young musicians to non-traditional venues and new audiences. During its start-up phase, I provided So Good Sounds with marketing and communications services, supporting Peg’s mission of creating curated concerts that foster community connection.
Sometimes you hear a new idea and it just floors you. Flexetail is that idea - mobile, flexible retail that can be anywhere, anytime. I was lucky enough to be part of the start-up phase of this growing company, helping with strategy, communications, and building the brand and the audience for this new and very exciting concept.

I’ve had my eye on this building for more than a decade (hello, HBI!), and now I can’t wait to visit Comfort Kitchen to enjoy their delicious take on global comfort food. Read more here.
The Fowler Clark Epstein Farm in Mattapan has captured my attention for years. When Historic Boston, Inc. completed its monumental rehabilitation of the once overgrown and abandoned property, I just knew I had to write about it. Today, the Urban Farming Institute uses the property to run a successful farm, neighborhood farm stand, and agricultural education center. Read the article here.
This was my chance to help two brilliant women launch their new executive coaching business, Watershed Co. Lucia and Julie both have incredible stories and professional backgrounds - they just needed help making it cohesive and effective. Working collaboratively, we developed strong copy that was just the right mix of polish and authenticity.
Perigold needed to introduce their growing audience to the premium home brands that were together - in one place - for the first time.
With #perigoldprofiles, we created a series of brand stories and a corresponding social media/digital marketing campaign to ensure a deeper, richer, experience for customers.
